Vanessa Hudgens Took the Sheer-Dress Trend to Coachella

Around 2012, it was common to spot someone trying to recreate Vanessa Hudgens’s Coachella outfits. It’s not hard to imagine Miss Hudgens wore lace dresses, flower crowns, and face jewels throughout the festival seasons of the mid-2010s. She was TheIt girl, and judging by her Coachella outfit, it seems she is still. 

To mark a return to her old stomping grounds, Hollywood’s newest medium wore a chain mail sheer dress by Natalia Fedner over a deep purple cutout swimsuit by Triangl—perfect for the Indio, California, heat. The Tick, Tick…Boom!The actor accessorized the look by wearing Jacquie Aiche jewelry and aviator sunglasses. He also wore combat boots from Thursday Boots and a pair of combat boots from Thursday Boots. Valentino provided a raffia crossbody rock-stud purse. 

Hudgens helped define festival fashion throughout her post–High School MusicalShe has been a Coachella icon for many years. She acknowledged her reign, cheekily captioning her post: “Miss V here, Reporting for duty 😉🥳”.

The look is less dramatic than some of those seen on influencers. However, Hudgens’s look feels like her bohemian style from the early aughts. She seems to favor a simple, casual, and cute style that she reverts to over and over again. We would be able to do the same.
