Rihanna’s Rumored Baby Shower Theme Makes So Much Sense

0 205

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky can throw a rave-themed babyshower.

According to HipHollywood Entertainment TonightAccording to reports, the couple celebrated the birth of their child by flying in Barbados family and friends for an epic party on April 22. “Rihanna didn’t want a shower for just the ladies,” a source told E.T., who also claimed the guest list was “very intimate.” “They’re in this together; it was always going to be a joint celebration.”

The security at the Hollywood studio was tight. HipHollywood reported that guests, including celebrities, were barred from taking photos and videos…but if they had, we would have seen that the theme of the night was rave-inspired and that guests were instructed to come in their “best and brightest neon-colored outfits.”

One detail that could have been leaked is if Twitter is to be believed, is that each guest was treated to a T-shirt featuring childhood photos of Rihanna and Rocky, which read, “I Went to Rih & Rocky’s Rave Shower and All I Got Was This Amazing Shirt.” To be honest, I hope this is true purely because it proves the graffiti shirts I received at about 15 middle school bar mitzvahs were, in fact, very cool.

ASAP Rocky and Rihanna have been presenting a united front during the Fenty Beauty mogul’s pregnancy. This is especially important after disputed cheating allegations and Rocky’s recent arrest in connection to a November 2021 shoot. The couple were photographed together on a date night on 23 April, just days after the rapper was released from bail for $550,000. Rihanna didn’t hide from the paparazzi. She wore one of her famous maternity looks, a pinstripe-shorts look, with a black bra and a button-down black jacket underneath.

“It was a happy and relaxed group. Rihanna looked great. She sat next to ASAP and they were affectionate,” a source told People. “They dined for a couple of hours. The focus was very much on Rihanna and the baby.”
