The American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) is paying tribute to Ellen Kuras. The Hollywood Reporter confirms the cinematographer and director can be offered with ASC’s Lifetime Achievement Award on the org’s thirty sixth annual awards on March 20 — and would be the first lady to ever obtain the consideration.
“Ellen is undeniably a trailblazer,” mentioned ASC president Stephen Lighthill. “She has persistently introduced a daring and compelling artistic expertise to her work as a director and cinematographer. She is thought to be a passionate collaborator, robust chief, and beneficiant soul.”
