Mandy Moore Does Date Night in a Suit and Tie While Promoting ‘This Is Us’

Mandy Moore went on a date night with Taylor Goldsmith while she was at a NBC For Your Consideration event for Moore’s show. This is UsThis week, the show was canceled after six seasons.

The married couple, both in Thom Browne designs, showcased their matching signing skills with a performance of original songs by This is Us.Moore starred in the NBC series as Rebecca Pearson, a role which often utilized Moore’s vocal talents.

The 38-year old actor swapped her usual style, which consisted of brightly colored dresses and fun prints, for a sleek black suit with a thin tie. Moore has been wearing more two-piece sets with the help of Kevin Ericson, and this full-suit moment adds to her evolving style. It shouldn’t be a big deal when a famous woman wears a suit—after all, Diane Keaton has been doing it for decades—but there’s something about flipping fashion gender traditions on their head that still feels notable.
