Maria Shriver, a 63 year-old actor, recently joined the Radically Reframing Aging Summit with a candid discussion about the Actor. Halloween star’s views on aging—and why it’s a positive thing. “This word ‘anti-aging’ has to be struck,” she said. “I am pro-aging. I want to age with intelligence and grace and dignity and verve and energy.”
Earlier this month, Curtis revealed that she asked to show her body in its natural beauty—no prosthetics, no shapewear, no filters—in her new movie Everything at Once She shared a photo of herself in character to Instagram, writing, “In the world, there is an industry—a billion-dollar, trillion-dollar industry—about hiding things. Concealers. Shapers for the body. Fillers. Procedures. Clothing. Hair accessories. Hair products. Everything that conceals who we really are. My instruction to everyone was: There should be no concealing of any fact.”
She continued in the caption, ““I’ve been sucking my stomach in since I was 11, when you start being conscious of boys and bodies, and the jeans are supertight. I made a decision to let go of every muscle I had, which I used to clench in order to hide the truth. That was my goal. I have never felt more free creatively and physically.”
