Here’s How Megan Fox Responded to Being Called Machine Gun Kelly’s ‘Wife’ by Mistake

Megan Fox is not Machine Gun Kelly’s wife…yet.

The actor and singer attended 71st NBA All-Star Game. A zealous sports announcer was announcing their presence at Cleveland, Ohio’s event on February 20, but it seemed that he was a little too excited. After Fox and MGK made a few placating faces for the jumbotron, the sportscaster can be heard saying, “Please welcome Machine Gun Kelley and his wife, actress Megan Fox.”

Fox then laughs and shakes her head. Turning to Kelly, she seemingly says something along the lines of, “I am not your wife,” though we can’t say for sure. It is evident that she made the error.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly will eventually get married, to be fair. The couple announced their engagement in January with a video.

“In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree,” Fox wrote in her IG caption. “We asked for magic. We didn’t know the pain we would share in such a brief, frenetic time. We were unaware of the sacrifices and work that a relationship would require, but we were intoxicated by the love. And the karma. A year and a quarter later, after having been through hell together and having laughed more than I could ever imagine, he asked me to be his wife. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes…and then we drank each other’s blood.” Reminder: don’t drink your partner’s blood.

MGK also shared the meaning of the custom engagement rings in a separate post. “I know tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love,” he wrote.

By the way, when the pair do get married, it would be far more appropriate to describe Machine Gun Kelly as Megan Fox’s husband… She has 10 million more followers than him on Instagram, after all.
