Halsey may be taking inspiration from Rihanna, a first-time mother, and wearing a look that emphasizes low-rise pants with cutout tops.
The “Without Me” singer showed up at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in a playful jumpsuit that featured symmetrical cutouts, extra-long flared bottoms, a low-rise waist, and bustier linings covered in Swarovski crystals. This is 100% what Maddy Perez would wear. Euphoria if given the budget—or the chance to raid her rich boss’s closet again. Law Roach, who is also responsible to fashion icons Zendaya, Anya Taylor-Joy and other fashion icons, styled Halsey’s sparkly look.
Straight from the runway to the red carpet, this design, from Andres Sarda’s Madrid Fashion Week fall-2022 presentation, molded perfectly onto the Grammy-nominated singer. Showing off glowing skin, Halsey took a break from mom duties to show everyone how it’s done. The “If I Can’t Have Love I Want Power” singer wasn’t nominated for any awards at the show but still came out a winner with a showstopping outfit that shined bright at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium.
Hairstylist Marty Harper—assisted by Mi Chi—created a sleek, extra-long pony to match with the singer’s equally long flared pants. The bottoms were so long, they created a mini-train as Halsey walked. The singer made a bold statement from head-to-toe by pairing it with silver earrings, rings, and metallic Stuart Weitzman platform heels.
