Hailey Bieber doesn’t mind sharing her beauty secrets. She’s already given us a blow-by-blow tutorial on how she achieves her signature glazed-doughnut skin, and lately she’s dropped her everyday off-duty makeup routine on TikTok—with shout-outs to some of the products she swears by.
In case you were wondering what line-up she uses for her perfect neutral pinky-brown ’90s-inspired lip shade, Bieber has shared details. “For lips, everyone knows I love this Anywhere Caffeine Lip Liner [from Makeup for Ever],” she says while carefully sketching the lip pencil just outside her lip line and swiping her finger along the outline to ensure it’s extra neat. Next, she layers her favorite lipstick over it. “This is Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk,” she says, explaining, “I’m just gonna put it on my finger and dab it on.” She uses her middle finger to pat it in and, after taking a second to check it out in the mirror, confirms, “I love this lip combo. I love lip combos that I feel like match my natural color of my lips.”
The good news if you fancy re-creating the lip look yourself is that Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk Lipstick is easy to get hold of. Unfortunately, the lip pencil she mentioned is now sold out everywhere.

Luckily, TikTok’s come through with an alternative that—Bonus—is actually cheaper. “I think I’ve found a drugstore dupe for Hailey Bieber’s lip pencil,” creator @sarahkchey says in a video uploaded to the site. “The right is Makeup Forever,” she says pointing at her hand, “and the left is Nyx.” And while showing a zoomed-out shot of the lip product on, she says, “This [right]Side is the Makeup For Ever Artist Pencil, in the shade Anywhere Caffeine. [left]side is the Nyx Lineout Loud Pencil shade Global Citizen. I would say they’re pretty similar. Makeup For Ever is slightly lighter in color, while Nyx is more beige. Formula-wise, Nyx is slightly creamier than the Makeup for Ever and it’s also waterproof.” As for the verdict, she concludes, “For $8 this is a great alternative.”

Bieber explained that she uses Tan Luxe The Waterhydrating Self Tan Water to match her skin and add glow. “Yesterday I used this Tan Luxe Water Spray on my face because my body gets really tan and I keep my face out of the sun,” she says. “So to try to give my face that little bit of glow. This water is my favorite. I spray it and rub it in. Then I wait for it dry and then I apply my skin treatment. Then I go to sleep and wake up with a nice little glow.”
Bieber applies EltaMD UV Daily Tinted Facescreen for coverage. She then dots a little Kosas Revealer Ultra Creamy Brightening Concealer around her eyes and nose. Finally, she moves onto her cheeks. “I’m using a different blush shade. I’m using a Makeup for Ever Palette and I’m using whatever color that is,” she says, pointing to the Makeup for Ever Ultra HD Face Essentials Palette and the shade 204, a creamy plum. For a sun-kissed glow, she applies the color to her cheeks and ends with her fingers.
