‘Emily in Paris’ Has Been Renewed for Seasons 3 and 4: Here’s Everything We Know

Emily in ParisThe series premiered in October 2020, and was instantly a success. The visually appealing series from Darren Star about a 20 year old American who moves to Paris for work has been a hit, regardless of whether you loved it or hated. Season 2 of Emily in ParisThe movie was released on Netflix in December 2021. 

Netflix released a press release in May 2021 revealing that Emily in ParisIt had been viewed by 58,000,000 households in its first 28 days on Netflix, making it the most popular comedy series on Netflix in 2020. Netflix is basically trying to say that this show is. très populaire.

Here’s everything we know about the Emily in ParisSeasons three, four and five are now complete.

Emily in Paris The show will be back for a third and forth season.Netflix announced that the comedy series was renewed for not one, but two seasons on Monday, January 10, 2021.  

Release date.While there are no specifics yet, it is likely that the third season will arrive in the latter half of 2022 and the fourth in the latter half of 2023.

What’s next? Darren Star told GlamourHe says he’s been thinking about Emily’s future and noting that Sylvie gave her the opportunity to work for her. “There’s no right decision here. There’s no one decision that’s going to make everybody happy or that’s even going to make Emily happy,” Star tells us. “She has some tough choices, and she’s put in the middle of a lot of sticky situations at the end of the season.”

We may meet Sylvie’s family. “Absolutely,” Star tells GlamourYou might be interested in meeting Sylvie’s family members. “It’s something we might hear more about in future seasons. We don’t know everything we can about Sylvie. She’s a bit like an onion or an artichoke. There’s a lot of layers to peel.”

It’s not the end of Alfie or Emily.Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), revealed at the end of season 2, that he wanted Emily to go all-in, but Emily wasn’t feeling the exact same. So what’s the deal going forward? “This does not mean the end of Alfie,” Star told us. “What’s happened with Emily does not mean the end of Alfie. Sometimes, you can look at a relationship you believe is the one and realize it might be someone else. So I don’t believe that…certainly, for me, the door is open for Emily and Alfie.”

TBD on a Kim Cattrall appearance.Since Cattrall was announced as the host, fans have been requesting that she appear on the show. Sex and the CitySamantha Jones, the character had relocated to London. We know that Star and former were both in London. SATCCostume designer Patricia Field (and current) Emily in ParisCattrall is a co-costume design) so it’s not too far fetched.
