My skin would be described as “skin” if I had to choose one word. beautiful.I prefer it more often embarrassing, painful,Or Pain in my stomachBecause of more than 10 years’ experience with dark spots and acne, So when Charlotte Tilbury’s newest foundation launch promised to deliver gorgeous skin in a tube—seriously, it’s called Beautiful Skin—I was skeptical.
Even though Charlotte Tilbury is my holy grail foundation, Airbrush Flawless (which I love), it was hard for me to believe that Charlotte Tilbury would win me over twice considering my strict foundation standards. I crave full coverage—it’s like a security blanket for me—but detest the look of matte, heavy, and cakey. Somehow, Airbrush Flawless delivers some of the most full-on coverage I’ve ever experienced, without feeling heavy or fake. However, due to the recent subzero temps and an increase in my acne prescriptions, I’ve been drier than ever and searching for something dewier.
Enter Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation. The foundation claims to offer medium coverage, but is lightweight and long-wearing. It gives you a natural glow and is packed with skin-care products like rose complex and Hyaluronic acid to plump and hydrate your skin. Dewy foundations can make me run for the hills because they are often lacking in coverage. However, the brand included BixActiv, an ingredient that blurs pores and reduces shine. Tilbury has been a great brand when it comes to skin products. So why not get started?

I was relieved to discover that Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation was easy to apply with my Beautyblender. The foundation was exactly what I was looking for—all the coverage of Airbrush Flawless, infused with a healthy dose of glow. The foundation blends easily and glides on quickly. One layer gave me solid medium coverage—though you could use a little less product for more of a tint—and it was easy to build it up where I needed without bunching or caking. I still had to go in with some extra concealer on any active pimples, but I didn’t need to add any more on old spots than I usually do.
It’s not as long-wear as Airbrush Flawless—which truly doesn’t budge—but the staying power is impressive, especially for such a glowy product. Although it was a bit jostled under a mask, it stayed put all day. But it was fine in normal times (remember those? It would be perfect in normal times.
