Anne Hathaway has become the style queen of Genovia—wait, no, the 2022 Cannes Film Festival. Hathaway has been in the news this week for her stylish styling while in France, ranging from a colorful sequined set to an elegant white gown.
She stunned once again in Gucci on May 20th at a photo call event to promote her new movie Armageddon TimesThe festival featured the, which was also featured at the festival. Her longtime stylist, Erin Walsh, confirmed on Instagram that Anne Hathaway is a “Gucci Girl!” in this ’60s-style minidress.
The dress’s mod-style silhouette was kept from leaning too into costume by the addition of a cone bra a la Madonna’s famous Jean Paul Gaultier look from the early ’90s. The dress’s cobalt-blue bustier top matches the similar-colored shiny accents that are raised against the black base.

The look was completed by Adir Abergel, hairstylist at Virtue Labs, who gave the actor a modern twist to vintage styling.
Florrie White, a makeup artist, gave Hathaway a flushed appearance by giving her rosy cheeks and pink lipstick. Hathaway wore Bulgari jewels and cat-eye sunglasses to complete her look. Mad MenBy way of a Madonna video music.
