I am going to be completely honest with you; I hate exercising. It doesn’t matter which aspect of my body I’m working on. Despite my many (and I mean many) complaints, it doesn’t matter what part of my body I’m working on. ManyI gave up many times trying to get into a regular fitness routine. But more than that – it was Boring.

While research shows that working out can help relieve stress, depression, and negative moods, I just wasn’t motivated to do it. It was short and simple. wasn’t fun. All the YouTube videos I watched and various apps I tried included the sound of the clock clicking and… not much else apart from (appreciated) advice.

I would guess that many of us feel the same way. It can feel like a chore to keep fit. A means to an ending. It is a necessary step in order to get the body we desire or to keep active.

That was me until YouTube showed me dance workouts. The music was loud and the fitness YouTubers danced along to a variety songs. They seemed to be having fun and enjoying themselves. They performed moves that were quite different from the normal exercise position.

One problem: I have two left feet, and severe hand and leg coordination issues. This led me to wonder: Could it be possible? I also do it? Would I find it as enjoyable as the commenters? There was only one method to find out.

Here are my thoughts about four different workouts that I have done.
