Natural wine continues to be trending and in-demand here, with more and more wine bars focusing on biodynamic varieties farmed organically.
In 2017, the natural wine scene in Singapore was just starting to take root. RVLT was one the first local bars to specialize in minimal intervention wines. In mid-2018, Le Bon Funk joined the party as another major player. Club Street’s wine bar and restaurant features an extensive natural wine selection that highlights unique terroirs, as well as smaller producers.
Travelling wine bar Drunken Farmer now boasts two full-fledged, brick-and-mortar outposts – one at Joo Chiat (above) and the other at Stanley St.
Newer players include Drunken Farmer which started out as a nomadic natural wine consultancy – the brand set up permanent roots this year, as a natural wine bar and bistro at both its Stanley Street and Joo. The e-store That Wine is Mine has themed wine boxes that are carefully selected to ensure high quality.
