What is family? Is it our family, or something universal? It is time to reflect on who we love, who we cherish, and who we want our family to be. Cartier says that family is chosen because it doesn’t have any boundaries or limits on who is invited to the dinner table. Cartier and their latest film, “Love is All”, have assembled a cast of characters to embrace differences and show the unity that comes from self expression tied to community.
A film starring a diverse cast of Friends of the Maison is accompanied by the sweet melody of Love is All’. It was first composed in 1975, by Roger Glover, Ronnie James Dio and Mariacarla Boscono. Film director Charlotte Wales, based in London, shot the film between Paris, Los Angeles and Shanghai. This multicultural cast represents family as we know them today: universal, chosen through passions and common threads.
A dozen of these ambassadors dance in a Cartier jewelry box to celebrate the joyous holiday season. The video is lighthearted and carefree, and encourages creativity and unity. The lyrics of the song ask, “Ain’t you happy that we’re all together?”. The overwhelming answer is yes.
