Amazon’s latest launch allows you to shop with both your conscience and convenience. The retailer’s sweeping Amazon Aware program touches on nearly every category that goes into your cart (fashion, home, and beauty) with options that allow you to stock up on essentials that are made in accordance with globally recognized sustainability certifications.

Apparel is made with recycled fabrics and organic coton, while beauty products are made with vegan formulas without fragrances. To reduce single-use plastics, the latter is packaged in aluminum and glass containers. Refills are available for certain products so you can use even less packaging.

In an age and market where it’s increasingly easy to say one thing and do, well, nothing, Amazon Aware is showing it’s got real cred, too. The retailer is relying on a host of third-party certifications to confirm it’s truly doing what it set out to accomplish and that requires lots of transparency when it comes to logistics: The Global Recycle Standard (GRS) is one of the internationally recognized stamps of approval relied upon to verify that a garment marked as “recycled” or consciously created actually passes muster, and Amazon touts it regularly.
