How To Manifest Career Success This Year

0 162

Spring is such an invigorating season: The sun is shining, the days are longer, and it’s not as tempting to hide under the duvet to binge the latest Netflix hit—which is why spring is the perfect time to revisit your career goals and actually make them happen.

If you’re diligently doing the work during your 9-5, then you may feel like there is nothing else you can do to push your career forward. While putting in the work on a day-to-day basis is super important, it’s also easy to fall into a work rut where you just get the bare minimum done and don’t focus on checking your next goal off your list.

Your career success can be a way to keep your career goals in mind. It will also make it easier to work subconsciously and consciously towards those goals. Let’s look at how you can manifest career success this year. This way, you’ll have something to toast to by the time midnight strikes Dec. 31.

Make a vision board

Let’s start with the really fun part. A vision board allows you spend time thinking about your goals. If you don’t know what you want out of your career this year, the practice of giving yourself space to find what images and words you’re attracted to can help bring new goals into focus.

We’re all so busy these days and it’s hard to carve out time to properly think about what we want and how we can achieve it. Spending a few relaxed hours (don’t rush here) on discovery and manifestation can be both inspiring and a very practical step to take toward identifying and reaching your goals, not to mention you’ll be able to circle back to your vision board when you need to be reminded of what you’re working toward.

Keep your vision board visible in your workspace, if you are able. If you work for a public company and would prefer to keep your visionboard private, you could consider keeping it in a notebook or in your planner. This will allow you to discreetly refer to it throughout the day.

Make manifestation a daily habit

You must embrace manifestation regularly to make it work. In whatever way works best for you, make manifestation a part your daily routine. You can keep track of your progress by writing down your goals each day in your journal. Or you can reflect on your vision board before starting your workday. No matter what manifestation path you choose to follow, it is important that you incorporate it into your daily life. It will help you keep your goals at the forefront, and it will make it easier for you to identify ways to make career progress every day. Here are some other ways to get started on a daily manifestation routine.

Public accountability is encouraged

Tweet about it, create a blog or make your intentions very clear on LinkedIn. There’s something to be said about manifesting publicly. Your accountability to yourself increases when you make your goals public. If you prefer to keep your goals private (which is possible if you are looking for a new job or want to change industries), you can always share your goals with a friend or family member. Talking about your goals and setting expectations can help you reach them.

Incorporate manifestation into your meditation practice

You can take a break and incorporate manifestation into your meditation practice. Visualization meditation, a type of meditation, involves focusing on imagery during meditation to cultivate mindfulness. Meditation is difficult for many people because they feel pressure to clear their minds. Visualization can be easier to master because you can focus your mind on visual representations. Some people may picture a graduation ceremony for MBAs, while others might envision a corner office. And for you, it could mean convincing your boss that you can work remotely.

Find your tribe and goal-getters

There’s something to be said about spending time with others who share your goals. When you’re trying to reach key career goals, try to spend some extra time with friends, family, or colleagues who are also working toward career goals and who want to talk about the progress you’re making. If your goal is to make your side hustle a full-time business, you can connect with other entrepreneurs who share your goals. You will be able learn and grow together and can also talk about your career aspirations and goals with someone who understands them.

Manifestation doesn’t have to happen quietly and privately, so don’t be afraid to tell people exactly what you want for your career this year.
