In case you missed it—which you probably didn’t because it’s everywhere—Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, the world’s most extreme couple, are engaged. Fox’s extra engagement ring is deeply personal.
MGK shared a photo on Wednesday of Fox’s engagement ring to Instagram, and told the story behind it. “I know tradition is one ring, but i designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love,” he wrote in the caption.

“In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree,” Fox wrote in her IG caption. “We asked for magic. We didn’t know the pain we would share in such a brief, frenetic time. We were unaware of the sacrifices and work that a relationship would require, but we were intoxicated by the love. And the karma. A year and a quarter later, after having been through hell together and having laughed more times than I ever imagined, he asked me to be his wife. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes…and then we drank each other’s blood.”
“The first time I looked into his eyes, I was like, ‘I know you. I have known you so many times, in so many different forms, in so many different lives,’” Fox told The Washington Post about MGK, adding that she “wasn’t expecting it’d be like, ‘God, you are my soul mate,’ instantly.”
It seems that this is exactly what happened.
