Memorial Day weekend is a great opportunity to catch up on TV, because you don’t have to watch volume one. Stranger ThingsIt’s still season four. The week ends with excitement as the royals get together to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s platinum anniversary, which marks 70 years of Her Majesty’s service. The four-day event begins on Thursday, June 2, with Trooping of the Colour (typically held on Saturday). The pandemic has prevented the event from being held for two years, so it’s the first time this event has been staged in two years. Prince Louis, the youngest son and Duke and Duchess Of Cambridge, will be the star of the show.
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, their children, Archie, and Lili will also fly in to the festivities. However, they won’t be seen on the Buckingham Palace balcony. This is only for working royals this season. All morning news channels will broadcast the highlights. CBS will have special programming devoted to the first day celebrations.
