In December 2021, it was reported that Maralee Thompson, her personal trainer, was suing Tristan Thompson in order to receive child support for a child he conceived with Thompson in March. Thompson was mum on the matter, but he took to Instagram Stories on January 3rd 2022 to confirm that a paternity testing had shown he. IsThe father of Nichols’s baby.
“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” he wrote. “I take full responsibility for my actions. I am looking forward to raising our son in peace now that paternity is established. I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal, both publicly and privately.”
He then apologized to Khloé Kardashian, with whom he has had an on-again, off-again relationship; they also share a daughter, True. (Kardashian was reportedly with Thompson when he had a baby with Nichols.
“Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you,” he wrote. “You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions are not consistent with my views of you. I have the deepest respect and love for your family. No matter what you think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”

The source added that Kardashian’s inner circle begged her “over and over again” to not take Thompson back. However, she “always believed he would change.” The source said, “She is just a really great person and wants to see the positive in people.”
This insider said Tristan Thompson and Khloé Kardashian were happy during quarantine, but Kardashian “knew things would change” once Thompson returned to work. “She was just hopeful that he would stay faithful and loyal to her,” the source said.
