Tiffany Haddish Was ‘Disappointed’ By Common’s Breakup Statements: ‘That’s Not What You Told Me’

There are always two sides to any story. It is worth talking with your ex before you go public with yours. Tiffany Haddish, an actor and comedian, recently admitted that she was surprised by Common’s words after their November separation.

The rapper made an appearance on Fox Soul’s earlier this month. Hollywood Uncensored and Uncensored with Jason LeeHe addressed the breaking up, blaming their busy work schedules on two people who are dedicated to their craft. He said he had positive feelings about Haddish. However, due to their many commitments they mutually decided that it wasn’t work. 

Lee was told by Haddish in a recent interview. Uncensored Unlockedinterview that she was shocked by his interview and comments. “I was disappointed. She said she was very disappointed. ET Online.“I was like, ‘Oh, OK.’ Cause that’s not what you told, but OK.” She also said that she had been informed by her publicist about the breakup being made public in November. But, she wasn’t hurt about it. 

“I miss him,” she added. “I miss him from the time he’s gone, but that’s just with any intimate relationship you might have. But it’s fine. It’s cool.”

After meeting on the set of, the pair announced that they were seeing eachother again in August 2020. The Kitchen. They split up almost a full year later. “They are never in the same city together and both of them are just too busy for a serious relationship,” a source told PeopleNovember 29, 2009. 

Tiffany Haddish previously stated that Common approached her first due to previous relationships. “He was, like, tryna holler, and I was like…‘Um…no, I’m not really interested. I’m good. My eyes are fixed on other things. I’m interested in somebody else. I’m sorry. But you seem like a nice person,’” she joked on The Late Show With Stephen ColbertBack in February 

“‘I know too many people that dated you, let’s be honest,’” she said at the time, likely referencing Common’s previous relationships with Erykah Badu, Taraji P. Henson, and Serena Williams. “I didn’t say that, though. You know. You know.” 

Now, the Girls TripStar has her own theory on the breakup. “He might be the kind of person that never really settles, maybe he’s like a honey going from one flower to another,” she said. Uncensored Unlockedper ET Online. “I don’t know. I wish him nothing but joy and happiness, you know. He will always be cool.”
