The Barbie Movie Will Reportedly Feature Multiple Barbies and Kens

Between The Lego Movie TransformersIt’s amazing that we haven’t made a feature film about Barbie, the most beloved toy in the world. Sure, there are a number of animated movies and series, but no one’s yet tapped the box office potential of bringing Barbie to life…unless you count Life-SizeI do, in a way.

But, finally BarbieIt is getting ready to hit the big screen. Here’s all we know about the upcoming movie:

Since 2019, Gerwig and Noah Baumbach have been coscreenwriters for the project. VarietyGerwig will also be directing, as confirmed by the Associated Press in July 2021.
