Mila Kunis and Demi Moore Poke Fun at Their Shared History in a New Super Bowl Ad

0

It’s that time of year again! Companies are pulling out all the stops for their Super Bowl ads, and AT&T enlisted two stars for its spot: Mila Kunis and Demi Moore.

Famously, both women have been associated with Ashton Kutcher. Moore was his ex-wife and Kunis was his wife and mother of their children. Did you also know that they attended the same high schools? They weren’t there at the same time, but both attended Fairfax High School in Los Angeles. The new minute-long commercial finds them at their high school reunion, vying for the title of “Most Admired Alum.” As they meet on stage, Moore tells Kunis, “I had no idea we went to the same high school,” to which Kunis responds, “We have a lot in common.”

Comments on the YouTube video of the ad have been positive, with many praising the two women’s willingness to poke fun at themselves.

Kunis, who met Kutcher at the set of their sitcom That ’70s Show?, told Entertainment TonightMoore approached her with the idea of doing an ad together. “It was during my first collaboration meeting with AT&T that we discovered Demi was also a Fairfax High alum,” she said. “I thought it would bring humor and laughs to what was already a great ad. I reached out to her and was so delighted she jumped on board.”

Added Moore, “Who knew being a Fairfax alum would have brought this unexpected opportunity, to come together with Mila in such a fun and playful way?”

Moore, Kutcher and Kunis have all been on good terms and have spoken highly of one another in interviews. Kutcher even opened up about the current state of his relationship with Moore’s three daughters, telling Marc Maron in 2020, “I was helping raise teenage girls through their adolescence. I love them and I’m never going to stop loving them and respecting them and honoring them and rooting for them to be successful in whatever they are pursuing.”
