Meghan Markle’s Trooping the Colour Dress Sure Looks Familiar

All of the royals—together with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry—are exhibiting out for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. 

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex traveled to the U.Ok. from their residence in California on June 1 for the festivities, together with Trooping the Color, the annual celebration of the reigning monarch’s birthday. As a result of they stepped down as working royals in 2020, Meghan and Harry weren’t among the many crew standing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Nevertheless, they have been photographed having fun with the splendor from the sidelines.

The pair have been seen watching the parade on the Main Normal’s Workplace; images present the couple playfully shushing Zara Tindall’s kids—Mia, 8, and Lena, 3—and Peter Phillips’ daughter Savannah, 11, based on Folks. (See the images right here.)

Within the images, Meghan Markle wears an outsized straw Stephen Jones hat with a big navy bow and an identical navy costume. And it is the navy costume, with its off-the-shoulder neckline and distinctive blue coloration, that has followers doing a double take. Folks speculated that the costume is the exact same Roland Mouret piece that Meghan wore the night earlier than her marriage ceremony to Prince Harry in 2018.

The rewear—whether it is one—could possibly be symbolic of her need to resurface happier recollections from her time within the U.Ok., particularly given that is her first royal occasion since stepping down as a senior royal in 2020.

And if it is not a rewear? Effectively, perhaps Meghan simply loves navy. If it ain’t broke…
