‘Love Is Blind’ Season 2: Are Shayne and Natalie Still Together?

Love is BlindBut Netflix subscribers aren’t so certain that this is true for every couple who join the streaming service’s reality dating program. Season 2 viewers were riveted by the drama surrounding Shayne and Shaina and Natalie. They still have many questions. You’re one of them. Here’s the 4-1-1 on “Shatalie.”

Who are they?

Natalie Lee is a Chicago-based consultant manager. Her Instagram bio reads, “all bad jokes and awkward comments are mine.”  She definitely has jokes. “He may have abs, but I have IBS,” she joked in the caption of her latest Instagram.

Shayne Jansen, a real estate broker, also lives in Chicago (all cast members do), and according his LinkedIn profile, he’s been a personal trainer.

What happened to the show?

Despite a connection to Shaina Hurley and other ups, Shane eventually pursued relationships with Natalie. 

But that’s just the beginning. After Shaina left, Shaina and Natalie spoke about Shaina being single. Natalie believed that Shaina’s relationship with Shayne would be stronger, and Shaina would be happier if she had a boyfriend. Is she trying to deflect an obstacle or was she being threatened? Shayne and Shaina talked about it, which revealed fundamental communication difficulties in Shayne’s relationship with Natalie.

Are they still together today?

Jansen posted photos from his time in the past on February 17th. Love is blindInstagram. “To say I had a crazy week is an understatement! As I reflect back on the pods and my time in Mexico, I made some great connections and lifelong friends,” he wrote. “I want everyone to know that Natalie is an amazing woman with a huge heart. I hope everyone will stay tuned to see the unfolding of it all! I wouldn’t trade my time on this wild ride for anything. ❤️”

The same day, Lee shared the post to her Stories and wrote, “just a reminder that what you see on the show is a small facet of our love story and who we are as people ❤️.” So….yes?
