‘Love Is Blind’ Season 2: Are Mallory and Sal Still Together?

Season 2 of Netflix’s reality series on romance Love is blind is keeping us guessing and guessing and guessing, and the romance between Mallory Zapata and Salvador “Sal” Perez is included in that mix. The couple shared an immediate and deep connection from the start, but things spiraled just a little bit once they met each other outside the pods, after it became clear to Sal that Mallory’s connection with Jarrette might not be totally over, like he’d thought.

Who are they?

Two contestants are Salvador Perez and Mallory Zapata in season two Love is blind.Mallory, a Chicago-based communications manager at 32 years old, is on Insta. Her Insta bio reads, “📍Chicago • • Rosie’s mom 🐶 • Family, friends, food, fashion • Youth advocate.”

Her most recent grid post, shared February 11, shows a picture of the pod girls.

Salvador, a 31-year old executive assistant from Chicago, is his Insta bio. His Insta bio says, “El Paso, TX ✈️➡️ Chicago, IL 📍 Musically inclined – Is love really blind?”

Sal’s Insta grid posting, shared one day ago, is a reference towards the show. “Pov you tell the producers you play the ukulele once,” he wrote in the caption.

What happened during the show?

Sal and Mallory bonded over their Mexican heritage in the first episode and got engaged. Jarrette also proposed to Mallory. She declined the proposal because she felt stronger for Sal. “Since the beginning, I’ve connected with you so well,” Mallory told Jarrette. “We have so much in common, and I could talk to you about everything. It’s fun and I laugh with you a lot. I enjoy talking to you all the times. You’re such an amazing person, but there’s always really been two people I’ve felt very strongly for and I feel my other connection I’m just drawn more to that.”
