Kate Middleton: Fast fashion aficionado? It’s surprising, but it’s true!
Most days, I cannot afford to dress like an empress. That is fine because most days, I don’t want to. Heels are fun, but not necessary at my job (this); and although I look amazing in a tiered tiara, it does lead to some funny looks at the park, library, and coffee shop. Good reader, today I can dress as a true monarch. So can you, if that’s your wish.
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, kicked off her recent tour of Denmark by visiting the Infant Mental Health Program at the University of Copenhagen. Middleton has long been a proponent of early childhood education, and we’re sure the visit was a good and meaningful time for all. But we’re here to talk about her blazer, which was cute, bright red, and from Zara.
Middleton wore a textured, double-breasted blazer. It’s available for purchase for as low as 90 dollars (plus shipping if you don’t want it in stores). We’d bet anything the duchess had hers professionally tailored, which is why it looks so good on her.
She paired the firetruck-hued garment with a white blouse (red and white are the colors of Denmark’s flag), black pants, black pumps, a black bag, and pearl jewelry.
Look how much fun she’s having in her cute outfit. We sure do have a good time here in Scandinavia, don’t we, Kate Middleton?
