Kate Middleton was joined by Prince William at Queen Elizabeth II’s recent Buckingham Palace garden party. Her ensemble reminds of Eloise Bridgerton who was a young aristocratic Brit.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a custom-made dress by her private dressmaker on May 25. It featured buttons, a high neck and long sleeves that would be perfect for Regency-era London. The duchess paired the garment with matching earrings and plain heels.
Middleton is not the first to wear a pre-loved item to a garden party. She wore a coral dress with vintage clutch, in keeping with her commitment to sustainable fashion.
While Kate Middleton is certainly not seeking a suitor—she has been married to Prince William since 2011—you cannot tell me that she does not look ready to promenade in this look.
The pale pastel looks great on Middleton, a brunette, which may be why it is also a favorite color of the most sarcastic Bridgerton child. Eloise, Kate’s sister, is shown in mint green at an outdoor party in season 2.
