Everlane’s new collection makes it easier to fall in love with hardworking pieces. This seasonal release is not a surprise from the basics brand.
Everlane hopes to redefine uniform dressing with a trio sophisticates that are both sophisticated and easy to style. These include The 80’s Blazer, The Gathered Drape Trench, and The Way High Drape Pant. These three pieces can be purchased in black, gingham or slate gray and have an Everlane feel. Sizes range from 00-20 for the blazer to XS-XL for the coat and 00-16 for the bottoms. The trousers are $118, the blazer is $175, and the trench is $218. This price range is comparable to the rest of the brand’s collection.
Each garment is an updated version of a previous bestseller, explains Everlane CEO Andrea O’Donnell. “These pieces were inspired by our customers in their daily lives,” she says. “We know that many people are working in a hybrid model, and they want the ease of looking polished in a professional setting while also feeling comfortable for more casual days.”
We’ve loved the brand’s elevated basics for years now—its swimwear and leggings are favorites—but the new Everlane capsule might be its most exciting release yet. The silhouettes, like most Everlane designs, are trend-proof but still look great for the moment. The vintage-inspired jacket looks like a thrift store find in the best possible way. The trench is a stylish choice for chilly commutes or rainy days. The trousers are a relaxed alternative that a traditional boardroom silhouette.
