There aren’t many healthy relationships in the fictional world HBO’s hit drama. Euphoria—but things may be more romantic behind the scenes. Warning: There are minor spoilers in this episode and season two.
Based on some updated photos EuphoriaFans believe Hunter Schafer is currently dating Dominic Fike, the star of the drug-soaked drama teen drama. The photos show the couple holding hands at a West Hollywood outing.
Fike appeared in season two’s premiere as Elliot. This kind teenager seems to be throwing a cocaine-shaped wrench into Jules and Rue’s relationship. Zendaya, an Emmy Award-winner, was Zendaya’s Zendaya. Rue, who is an addict, meets Elliot in the laundry room of a New Year’s Eve party where she almost succumbs to heart failure, only to be saved by the teen who gives her…more drugs? This series may be about teens, but it’s not a drama. For teens.)
In episode two of the new season, which aired on January 16, Jules is immediately intimidated by Elliot and Rue’s connection—which isn’t helped by the fact that Rue is lying to her girlfriend about the ongoing friendship.
While Elliot might be having an on-screen romance with Rue, Fike and Schafer are causing emotional reactions from fans. Many tweets include congratulatory messages along with gifs or videos of hysterical crying.

One user tweeted, “I want to date Hunter Schafer and Dominic Fike.” “Can’t they move over a little bit and make room?” Honestly, that sounds a bit like it could work as a plot point in Euphoria. Of course, what is happening between Schafer & Fike is between them both, and neither actor confirmed the rumors…yet.
