Drew Barrymore may have been the poster girl for grunge in the ’90s, but, at 47, she’s swapped her biker jackets for crisp suiting courtesy of Fendi. Drew gave a new twist to classic tailoring at the Webby awards by wearing a quirky layered jacket with a preppy shirt-tie combo, all in pristine White. Her look was completed by chunky platforms, tucked neatly under her wide-leg trousers and a Fendi First bag.
Drew, twenty-something, would add a gothic touch to a sultry slip with dark lips and heavy eyes. However, Drew’s make up was minimal for the Webbys. Her understated beauty look complemented her beachy brunette curls, which was a departure form her choppy blonde hairstyles.
Drew understands the power of a great suit. At Christian Siriano’s autumn/winter 2022 show in February, the actor wore cherry-red oversized suiting from Siriano’s pre-fall 2022 collection with her hair in a mass of curls that called to mind a ’90s Julia Roberts. Although Drew from the old school will always be in our hearts, her elegant style evolution is truly captivating.
