Dakota Johnson is busy and booked, if there’s one thing you can say about her. Deadline reported that Dakota Johnson, 32, is in talks with the organization to join. Spider-Man Universe as the lead in Sony’s upcoming Madame Web movie. 

“Following the massive success of Spider-Man, There’s No Way Home, Sony is looking to expand on its universe of Marvel characters,” the publication said, noting that the film would mark the studio’s first modern comic book adaptation to feature a woman in the titular role. Sources have compared her powers with Dr. Strange, they also said that the project may develop into “something else” given that the story of Madame Web typically features an elderly woman with a severe medical condition that “never actively fought any villains.”

The project became even more exciting on March 16 when Deadline reported that EuphoriaStar Sydney Sweeney will be joining the cast. Although details are still being worked out, one thing is certain: the press tours will be explosive.
