Chrissy Teigen & John Legend are looking to expand the family.
On February 19, the model took to Instagram to inform her fans that she is currently going through another round of IVF treatments. “I wanted to let you guys know I’m balls deep in another IVF cycle to save as many eggos as I possibly can and hopefully make some strong, healthy embryos,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself in the middle of a pilates session. I honestly don’t mind the shots…they make me feel like a doctor/chemist…but the bloating is a bitch.”
The Need to satisfy your hunger?The author also addressed fan speculations and comments regarding her pregnancy status. “I humbly beg you to stop asking if I’m pregnant because while I know it’s said with excited, good intentions, it just kind of sucks to hear because I am the opposite of pregnant,” she wrote, adding that the same courtesy should be applied to everyone. “But also like please stop asking people, anyone, if they’re pregnant. I said this in the comments and got yelled at because the internet is wild but I’d rather be the one to tell you and not some poor woman who will look you in the eyes through tears and that’s how you finally learn.”

Teigen and Legend announced in September 2020 that Jack, their third child, had died due to complications during pregnancy. “We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before. Despite numerous blood transfusions, we were unable to stop the bleeding or give our baby the fluids that he needed. It just wasn’t enough,” Teigen wrote at the time, alongside a series of heartbreaking photos from the hospital room. “We never decide on our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital. But for some reason, we started calling the little guy in my stomach Jack. He will always be Jack to us. Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever.”
Chrissy Teigen announced in April 2021 that she was partnering with Resolve, the national infertility organization, to create an online platform to help those who are dealing with fertility issues and reduce stigma around infertility. “We really wanted to create a community of people who are going through the same struggles,” she told Glamourof Fertility Out Loud at the time. “To go on this fertility journey together because it is These are some examples a journey.”
