Camila Cabello’s Sheer Corset Just Made Underboob Classy

0 198

From Dakota Johnson and Kristen Stewart, A-listers have been seen wearing sheer corsets, bringing the boudoir essential to the streets and on the red carpets. Camila Cabello is the latest celebrity to step out in a see-through bustier, proving the piece is surprisingly wearable—and a subtle way to add edge to one’s signature style.

On March 24, the “Señorita” singer was snapped on the streets of London wearing a sheer black Dion Lee bustier top, a fireworks-print coat and matching wide-leg pants from Dries Van Noten, and sky-high platform heels. While Cabello’s outerwear was anything but boring, the corset ended up stealing the spotlight: Revealing her midriff with just a hint of underboob peeking through the fishnet mesh, it was sexy and a little dangerous—not to mention ideal for layering under a heavy coat.

Cabello may have had Bridgerton on her mind: The show—and its irresistible fashion—returns this week, complete with all the corsets you could ever dream of. (Bridgerton newcomer Simone Ashley also embraced the sheer look at the show’s season two premiere, opting for a see-through lace skirt.)

By opting for black mesh over the Netflix series’ floral satin, the “Havana” musician proved that corsets are much more than just dress-up—they offer a fresh way to add sex appeal to your outfit, without entering into over-the-top territory. Under a coat, bustiers are more subtle and low-key; out in the open, they’re great for some main character energy.

Amazingly, Camila Cabello’s exact top happens to be on major sale (nearly 60% off!) right now, albeit in limited sizing. If you don’t feel compelled to snag the exact same one, though, you’re in luck: There are a ton of lookalikes out there, both in the singer’s preferred black and in fun colors and prints. Add these picks to your cart—then go be the center of your own show.
