The And Just Like That…Season finale couldn’t be without another piece of fashion history Sex and the City.
Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), arrives in her fairy-tale-esque hotel room with only joyous anticipation during the series’ two-part farewell. As the day turns into night, she discovers that her former love Aleksandr Petrovsky, played by Mikhail Baryshnikov, has stood up for her. The image of a beautiful woman, draped in an Atelier Versace Mille Feuille dress, staring longingly out at the Eiffel Tower is a romantic way to portray heartbreak.
The gown was valued at $80,000 per season. PeopleIt is said to be the most expensive dress Carrie has ever worn.

HBO, HBO MaxWe now know that Carrie still has fond feelings for the dress, almost 20 years after it was first worn. The reboot’s season finale aired on HBO Max on January 20th. It featured Carrie as a podcast host and author who is archiving her favourite wardrobe pieces for storage. In one scene, she asks Seema Patel (Sarita Choudhury), “Do you want to see something amazing?” Yes!
