Amy Schumer Posts Beach Pic After Liposuction and Endometriosis Surgery: ‘I Feel Good’

Amy Schumer is feeling great these days. The comedian and actor, who is known for her candid humor, shared a happy photo on Tuesday, January 18, where she revealed the procedures that helped her regain her strength after giving birth to her son Gene two years ago.

“I feel good. Finally,” she wrote, alluding to the endometriosis and pregnancy complications she’s opened up about in the past. In her HBO series Amy is Coming SoonSchumer spoke out about the physical toll pregnancy had on her body and now she’s sharing the time and effort it took for her to recover. She also thanks the professionals and doctors who helped her. “It’s been a journey thanks for helping me get my strength back @seckinmd (endo) @jordanternermd (lipo) never thought i would do anything but talk to me after your uterus doesn’t contract for 2.5 years and you turn 40. @paulvincent22 Vickie Lee (acupuncture), Nicole, my friend and family. Schumer has previously written about her endometriosis. She had her uterus, appendix and cervix removed with excellent results in September 2021. People.But, it’s the first time she has mentioned liposuction.

Schumer shared a September post by her doctor about her endometriosis complications. “There is no research on this shit because they only happen TO WOMEN and there is no time to study them because all resources need to be funneled into researching ERECTILE DISFUNCTION,” she wrote. “THERE IS BARELY ANY RESEARCH ON ENDOMETRIOSIS WHICH OVER 10 percent of women have. ALL FUNDING SEEMS TO GO TO DICKMEREGENCIES.”
