South Korean actress Lee Younger-ae, who turned a family title in Asia after starring within the in style historic drama Jewel In The Palace in 2003, has donated 100 million gained (S$112,500) to assist these affected by the continuing Ukraine-Russia navy battle.
The donation was disclosed by Mr Dmytro Ponomarenko, the Ukrainian Ambassador-designate to South Korea, in a Twitter submit on March 1.

Mr Ponomarenko hooked up a photograph of the cheque and letter by Lee within the submit.

In response to a translation by The Korea Instances, she wrote: “As a member of the family of a struggle veteran, I can actually sympathise with the horrors of struggle greater than anybody else.”
“I hope the struggle in Ukraine will finish quickly, and I pray for the well-being and security of all Ukrainian residents,” she wrote.
Lee, 51, is greatest recognized for her function as Jang-geum, a lady who goes from palace prepare dinner to royal doctor, in Jewel In The Palace.
