We Tried 6 Amazon Lululemon Dupes

0

As a fashion editor, I have a lot of clothes, and I’m not exactly one to say no to adding something new to my closet. One thing has remained constant throughout my life: I hate spending money for workout clothes. So when TikTok started going wild with apparent Lululemon dupes, let’s just say I was intrigued.

I couldn’t go through my afternoon scroll without another girl swearing that an Amazon piece was a dupe for a Lululemon one five times the price. It sounds great, but is it true? As someone who works out quite a bit, I’m a pretty harsh judge of workout wear, so I have stuck to my few tried-and-trues throughout my life.

A dupe can’t be a dupe if it just Looks the same—it has to perform the same too. So I decided to give the alleged dupes a try and took them on a spin along the Chicago lakefront trail. Here’s the verdict:

These were the dupe that I was most excited to test. I have a lot of workout clothes, but I am the most savage on leggings. There are few things I hate on this earth more than leggings slipping while I’m on a run, and if that happens even slightly, they’re out.

When I took these out of the package, I hoped to God they’d pass the run test because they are incredibly soft. Anyone familiar with Lululemon Aligns know that they’re a material that’s pretty hard to beat, but these felt very, very similar. These products pass the dupe testing after I tried them for several times. While they’re a bit thinner than Aligns, I had absolutely no issues with them slipping, and they hugged me in the right places without being too constricting.

These also make a great 10! These are a 10. They look seamless, making them seem eons more expensive than their actual cost. I discovered that these leggings are the most flattering when I have just washed my clothes and all of my other leggings were clean. I’m planning on picking these up in several more colors.

I must confess that I don’t own an Align tank. I have never been able afford to spend $70 on a gym tank. To compare, I did visit my nearest Lululemon to test the material, and it felt very similar.

There are very few obvious differences between this tank and the Align tank. Are they exactly the same? I obviously can’t tell you, but I would buy 15 more of this tank top just for being absolutely fabulous on its own. It is. So It was flattering and I felt completely comfortable.

This tank comes in incredible colors unlike other dupes. I purchased it in pink, and then in blue. I can’t tell you how to spend your hard-earned cash, but I’d highly recommend ditching the Lululemon one and buying four of these for the same cost.

I’m a sucker for a workout jacket and the confidence they give me the second I put one on. They’re just somehow slimming and make you look like a person who It is really has it together—something I try to trick people into thinking every chance I get.

Because Chicago temperatures are so brutal, I wear my workout jackets quite often. This jacket is my favorite. Not only do I absolutely love the color (which is slightly more purple than the mocha that was advertised, which I’m not mad at), but it also has the same high-quality thickness that you’d get in a Lululemon one. I don’t feel any differences in the looks or feel of this product and I am so happy with it.

These shorts were my first order. They came in a small size, which is my usual size. However, they fit me well. I have since exchanged for a medium and I love them.

I like my running shorts a lot looser and these are perfect. I love the wider waist band and how they’re a bit baggier without having too much fabric, and the lining on the inside provides coverage without being too tight or annoying. They survived a treadmill workout without any bunching and chafing. But, I’d still buy them for their looks. I like to wear shorts and a t-shirt in the summer. These fit the bill.

I previously was extremely anti-bike short on myself, as I felt like they were so deeply unflattering that I never reached for them—until I realized I was making a huge mistake: I just needed shorter ones.

I so prefer this length of bike shorts, as they aren’t so short they feel like volleyball Spandex but are Much I find shorter ones more flattering than those that are longer. These are my absolute favorite. They’re that same buttery-soft material without being flimsy, and the seamlessness of them made me fall in love with how they looked immediately. They held up through my workouts without any movement. I also didn’t get a muffin top on my thighs, so they passed that test. I literally ordered two more pairs of these because I know I’ll be wearing them constantly with oversized T-shirts this summer. They are simply amazing.

I’ve seen women in these joggers on my Instagram for years, and I finally get the hype. These joggers are perfect for anyone who wants a jogger they can wear outside. I’d describe them as a hybrid between joggers and leggings, since they’re a thin, buttery-soft material that’s a bit more fitted.

Although these joggers are made from thinner material, they do not feel cheap or transparent. I love how confident they make me feel and have already asked my mom to get one. These are a more polished option for working from home than my regular jeans.
