Motherhood is “rather a lot, on a regular basis, without end,” we’re informed in a brand new trailer for “The Child.” The HBO darkish comedy tells the story of Natasha (Michelle De Swarte, “The Duchess”), a 38-year-old lady who desires nothing lower than to be a mother. She’s appalled that her closest pals are having children — parenthood is interfering with their skill and willingness to hang around together with her.
Natasha finds herself with a child of her personal below extremely uncommon circumstances: she catches him when he falls from a cliff. “This isn’t my child,” she tells a good friend. However nobody appears to imagine her, besides a mysterious stranger (Amira Ghazalla, “The Rhythm Part”) who’s satisfied that the infant is unhealthy information. “He’ll bulldoze your life, destroy your relationships, and when he’s obtained you to himself, he’ll destroy you,” she warns.
