The U.Okay.’s Channel 4 has commissioned an eight-part coming-of-age drama sequence — working title “Dance College” — from Theresa Ikoko (“Rocks”) and Lisa Holdsworth (“A Discovery of Witches”). Based on Deadline, the sequence will observe a bunch of eclectic dance college students attempting to “navigate the extreme highs and lows of coming-of-age in at the moment’s complicated world.”
As with the inclusive, collaborative strategy to genuine storytelling that Ikoko and director Sarah Gavron employed on their London-set movie “Rocks,” avenue casting for the sequence will begin this summer season.
