Savanah Leaf’s “Earth Mama” will open the 52nd version of New Administrators/New Movies (ND/NF). Collectively offered by the Museum of Trendy Artwork and Movie at Lincoln Middle, the fest will happen March 29-April 9.
“Earth Mama” marks Leaf’s characteristic debut. Described as a “devastating and evocative portrait of motherhood refracted via the prisms of race and sophistication,” the coming-of-age pic tells the story of a pregnant single mother within the Bay Space.
Different titles set to display embody Manuela Martelli’s “Chile ’76,” the story of a lady requested to assist take care of a younger man her native priest is offering shelter to, and Tia Kouvo’s “Household Time,” a comedy a few Christmas get-together.
