Gina Rodriguez is celebrating the success of her new ABC comedy “Not Lifeless But” by growing a collection adaptation of a well-liked podcast for Netflix. Deadline reviews that the streamer has optioned the “Princess of South Seashore” with Rodriguez set to govt produce by way of her I Can & I Will Productions banner. She’s not at the moment slated to star within the collection.
“Princess of South Seashore,” which has been renewed for a second season, is “iHeart’s My Cultura Community’s high performing title and was nominated for Greatest Fiction Podcast on the Ambies final 12 months,” the supply notes. The podcast “follows Maria del Carmen and Gloria, twin sisters who had been separated at delivery and raised in dramatically other ways — one in a convent and the opposite within the lap of luxurious.
