Chelsea Peretti Is a “First Time Female Director” on Her Latest Project

Chelsea Peretti is making her directorial debut with the cheekily-titled “First Time Feminine Director.” The “Brooklyn 9-9” alumna and two-time WGA nominee has wrapped manufacturing on the pic for Fox’s MarVista and Amy Poehler’s Paper Kite Productions. Deadline broke the information.

Written by and starring Peretti, who can be among the many pic’s producers, “First Time Feminine Director” is ready “at a neighborhood theater in Glendale, CA, the place a newly minted feminine director struggles to fill the footwear of her male predecessor, placing her Southern rural drama in jeopardy.”
