Cate Blanchett will join Jane Fonda, Meryl Steep, and Barbra Steisand. The two-time Oscar winner has been announced as the 47th recipient of Film at Lincoln Center’s Chaplin Award. She’ll be presented with the honor at a gala on April 25.

Described as a “joyful celebration of the actor’s incredible filmography,” the event will feature “notable speakers, film clips, and a career-spanning conversation culminating in the presentation of the Chaplin Award.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Cate Blanchett back to Film at Lincoln Center, where three of her films have previously screened as part of the New York Film Festival,” said Lesli Klainberg, Executive Director of Film at Lincoln Center. “Ms. Blanchett’s career includes extraordinary performances in films ranging from small independent efforts to major studio franchises and with some of the most renowned directors of our time. It is our privilege to dedicate an evening of celebration to her, and add one more accolade to her many well-deserved awards.”

Blanchett won Oscars for “Blue Jasmine” and “The Aviator.” She’s also received nods for “Elizabeth,” “Notes on a Scandal,” “I’m Not There,” and “Elizabeth: The Golden Age.” Her more recent credits include “Don’t Look Up” and “Nightmare Alley.” Among the upcoming projects on her slate is “A Manual for Cleaning Women,” Pedro Almodóvar’s first English-language feature.
