“Brooklyn 9-9” collaborators Melissa Fumero and Vanessa Ramos are teaming up for one more comedy. The respective star and writer-producer of the not too long ago concluded regulation enforcement sitcom will work collectively on Netflix’s “Blockbuster,” Deadline reviews. Ramos created the collection — which, considerably sarcastically, is a streaming present about America’s final Blockbuster Video — and Fumero will star alongside Randall Park (“At all times Be My Perhaps”).
Hailing from Common Tv, “Blockbuster” is a 10-episode single-camera office comedy that “explores what it takes — and, extra particularly, who it takes — for a small enterprise to succeed in opposition to all odds,” the supply describes. “Fumero will play Eliza, a devoted mom whose marriage to her highschool sweetheart is on the rocks.
