What is it?This watery foundation provides a thin layer of coverage that can be used to even out skin tone and conceal any blemishes. It’s 94% natural ingredients, such as red camellia oils, which nourish and hydrate the skin throughout each day. Available in 20 shades

“One great thing about the range is that all the products smell great, including the N°1 de Chanel Revitalizing Foundation in B10 (30ml), $114. The red camellia itself doesn’t have a distinct scent, so Chanel reimagined what it would smell like.

The result? It is fresh and floral without being too sweet. I applied the foundation with my fingers. It settled easily into skin just like skincare. Though the texture is light and almost watery, it doesn’t compromise on coverage and I didn’t feel like I had to reach to extra concealer when I had an acne spot or two.” – Elizabeth Lee, Her World editor in chief

“It was lightweight and went on just like a tinted serum. Bonus: You don’t even need a brush or sponge to work it in! It’s very easy to build up the coverage.

Two layers will give you medium to full coverage. It gives you a lit-from within glow that lasts for hours and doesn’t settle into pores or fine lines. A mixture of two shades (B10 and B20) blended well with my olive skin.” – Letty Seah is an associate beauty editor at Her World

“This foundation is nothing short of amazing. With the extreme climate in Singapore, I’m someone who’s extremely picky when it comes to finding the right foundation that’s not too heavy on my skin, yet provides sufficient coverage.

This foundation does exactly what it says. It’s lightweight, blendable and it gives my skin that nice dewy glow. And while I’m not a fan of dewy finishes, this particular one by Chanel is definitely an exception.

As for the application, I recommend applying it with your fingers or even with a beauty blender for a more natural look — and to set it with a setting spray to lock everything in.

I used it for a full day with a mask on, and I’m actually quite impressed that it didn’t budge at all. I will admit that I needed to make some minor adjustments around my nose, as I am guilty of rubbing it with my mask.

I actually have dry to combination skin, so I really appreciate how hydrating the formula is, and it didn’t look patchy on my skin.

Overall, if you like something that offers light to medium coverage, a dewy finish and one that’s mask-friendly, this foundation is definitely a serious contender.” – Shazrina Binte Shamsudin, Her World digital writer
