Pamela Anderson to Tell Her ‘Real Story’ in a Netflix Documentary

Pamela Anderson, an actor and animal rights advocate is ready to talk about her experiences in the spotlight. Wednesday, March 2, at 2:05 pm BaywatchStar posted a handwritten note to her Instagram on Netflix letterhead (her only posting, as of press time). She signed it by a lipstick kiss.

“My life / A thousand imperfections / A million misperceptions / Wicked, wild and lost / Nothing to live up to / I can only surprise you / Not a victim, but a survivor / And alive to tell the real story,” she wrote. VarietyAccording to reports, the project being referred to is a documentary feature about Star.

The “definitive documentary about the pop culture icon,” as VarietyRyan White has directed the film, which Anderson reportedly calls it. The film has been in production for several years. According to the outlet interviews will be conducted with Anderson as well as footage from archives and personal journals. It’s described as “an intimate portrait embedded in the life of Pamela Anderson as she looks back at her professional and personal path and prepares for the next steps on her journey.”

Anderson’s sons, Brandon Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger Lee, both added the post to their Instagram Stories with the caption, “The Real Story.” Brandon is a producer on the project, and both sons commented with red hearts on their mom’s announcement.

The “real story” comment is likely an allusion to Pam + Tommy,The Hulu series is based on a fictionalized version about Anderson’s and Tommy Lee’s sextape scandal. Anderson is sympathetic to the storyline, but the project was criticised for moving forward without her consent. Anderson’s friend Courtney Love blasted the project online, posting, “I find this so fucking outrageous…[the tape]My friend Pamela was killed. Utterly…My heart goes out to Pammy. She is further traumatized by this.”
