Francisca X.Hu, TV writer and producer has signed an all-inclusive deal with UCP. UCP is a division within Universal Studio Group. The news was broke by Deadline.
A graduate of the 2022 WGA Showrunner Training Program, Hu began her career with a staffing job on Fox’s “Sleepy Hollow,” was aco-producer on The CW’s “Dynasty,” and has since served in consulting producer and co-exec producer roles on “The Walking Dead” anthology spinoff “Tales of the Walking Dead” — set to premiere this summer — and HBO Max’s “Warrior” respectively. She most recently produced Melissa London Hilfers’s country music drama series “Monarch,” set for release in the fall.
