Jessie Buckley will likely be honored on the 2023 Oscar Wilde Awards. A press launch introduced that the Oscar-nominated Irish actress will likely be offered with an award on the annual occasion run by the US-Eire Alliance. The ceremony will happen March 9.
“When Jessie began her profession, Andrew Lloyd Webber mentioned that Jessie is ‘a unprecedented artist. She should not be allowed to be meddled with,’” US-Eire Alliance president Trina Vargo shared in a press release. “Her unbelievable, genuine performances present that she hasn’t been.”
Yearly, the Oscar Wilde Awards acknowledge the contributions of Irish-Individuals within the U.S. movie trade as a part of the nonprofit’s mission to “carry collectively the artistic power of American and Irish artists,” per the US-Eire Alliance’s web site.
