Final week’s Academy Awards noticed Uma Thurman, Samuel L. Jackson, and John Travolta reuniting onstage to have a good time the twenty eighth anniversary of “Pulp Fiction.” Now, two of these stars are reteaming for one more darkish comedy involving a hitman. Thurman and Jackson are signed on to topline “The Kill Room” for Yale Productions, per a press launch. Nicol Paone is directing the pic.
The thriller tells the story of a “hitman, his boss (Jackson), an artwork seller (Thurman), and their cash laundering scheme that by chance turns the hitman into an in a single day, avant garde, sensation forcing her to play the artwork world in opposition to the underworld.”
“Attending to make ‘The Kill Room’ – an already unbelievable script – with Uma Thurman and Samuel L. Jackson is past my wildest desires,” stated Paone. “Each second they’re on display screen they’re each enviable and crowd pleasing. I’m eternally grateful to each of them for saying sure and I’m thrilled to carry this to life alongside Anne Clements, and Yale Productions.”
Paone made her characteristic directorial debut with “Friendsgiving,” a 2020 comedy led by Malin Akerman and Kat Dennings.
Thurman acquired an Oscar nod for her supporting function in “Pulp Fiction.” The “Kill Invoice” actress can at present be seen portraying Huffington Publish co-founder Arianna Huffington in “Tremendous Pumped,” a Showtime collection impressed by the highs and lows of Uber.
