It’s the right time to travel back through time. OutlanderOur screens are back. Starz’s fantasy-romance show has just wrapped production of its sixth season. Additional precautions were taken to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. What can fans expect from the latest installment of this beloved drama series? When will season six be released?
A time-hopping show such as OutlanderThe question isn’t always easy to answer. what;It’s often When. Unless there’s more comedy with The Stones, and listen, there could always been more funny business, the show picks right up where it left off, 1775, on eve of American Revolution. Claire (Caitriona) Balfe, and her family, know exactly what will happen. The British and colonists don’t know about war coming so it is up to the Fraser family to navigate the future, protecting their home while not affecting the future.

Claire is back home with Jamie (Sam Heughan), following an altercation at the end the fifth season with Lionel Brown. This picture shows our leading couples riding their horse-drawn carts through the wild backcountry.
Where was the filming of the new season?
Scotland, actually! The Fraser homestead is being built outdoors as well as on-stage, as you can see in this behind the scenes sneak peek.
